Solidarity Brigade Lead: Phil Ateto
Phil was first introduced to Backbone at a workshop against the TPP in the D.C. area in 2012 and continued to learn from and support Backbone organizing in the D.C. area. After gaining experience in various fields including the solar industry, he started helping coordinate for Backbone on the east coast, working out of Annapolis, MD.
He appreciates the diverse skill sets needed to pull of artful actions and finds that being a "jack-of-all-trades" works well for this.
